【摘要】:1.1ThisspecificationcoverstheminimumperformanceandmaterialrequirementsforresilientconnectorsusedforconnectionsbetweenprecastreinforcedconcretestormsewerstructuresconformingtoSpecificationC478andpipes,andbetweenprecastreinforcedconcretepipeandlateralsforstormdrainagesystems.1.1.1Theseconnectorsaredesignedtopreventsoilmigrationbetweenthepipeandstormsewerstructure,andbetweenthepipeandlateral.1.2ThisspecificationistheSIcompaniontoC1478.Note18212;Thisspecificationcoversthedesign,material,andperformanceoftheresilientconnectiononly.Connectionscoveredbythisspecificationareadequateforhydrostaticpressuresupto41kPa(4.3m)withoutleakagewhentestedinaccordancewithSection7.Infiltrationquantitiesforaninstalledsystemaredependentuponmanyfactorsotherthantheconnectionsbetweenstormsewerstructuresandpipe,andallowablequantitiesmustbecoveredbyotherspecificationsandsuitabletestingoftheinstalledpipelineandsystem.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.Foraspecificwarningstatement,see7.2.4.
