【摘要】:Thistestmethodissuitableforsettingspecificationsonphenolandforuseasaninternalqualitycontroltoolwherephenolisproducedorisusedinamanufacturingprocess.Itmayalsobeusedindevelopmentorresearchworkinvolvingphenol.Itisgenerallyappliedtodeterminingthosecommonlyoccurringimpuritiessuchasmesityloxide,cumene,hydroxyacetone,acetone,alpha-methylstyrene,2-methylbenzofuran,acetophenone,o-cresol,andmx0026;p-cresol.Purityiscommonlyreportedbysubtractingthedeterminedexpectedimpuritiesfrom100.00.However,agaschromatographicanalysiscannotdetermineabsolutepurityifunknowncomponentsarecontainedwithinthematerialbeingexamined.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofknownimpuritiesinphenolbygaschromatography(GC).Itisgenerallymeantfortheanalysisofphenolof99.9%orgreaterpurity.1.2Thefollowingappliestoallspecifiedlimitsinthistestmethod:forpurposesofdeterminingconformancewiththistestmethod,anobservedvalueorcalculatedvalueshallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimitinaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.Precisiondataisbasedonimpurityconcentrationsof15to70mg/kg.Usersofthistestmethodbelieveitislinearoverawiderrange.1.3ThisTestMethoddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection9.

【摘要】:Numeroussourcesprovidedetailedinformationastotheloading,blocking,bracing,andunloadingofspecifictypesofcargoinunimodalandintermodaltransport.Someofthesesourcesareproprietary,othersaremassiveandcomplexinscope,andnoneareconsistentlypromulgatedtoshippers,carriers,andconsignees.Manyofthelossesexperiencedbycargointransportareduetothefailuretopracticeproperbasiccargohandlingandloadingtechniques.Thesepracticesareintendedtooutlinethosetechniquesinsimple,clear,generic,andeasytopromulgateformats,includingposters,slides,videotapes,andpamphlets,andarefurtherintendedtoserveasthebasisuponwhichacomprehensivecargohandlingmethodologymaybebuilt.Usersofthesepracticesshouldavailthemselvesofthedetailedresourceinformationavailable.Thepracticesasdefinedarenotsufficienttoformacompletecargohandlingprotocol.1.1Thesepracticesareintendedtoserveasaguidetoshippers,carriers,andconsigneesforloadplanning,loading,blocking,andbracingofintermodalandunimodalcargoinsurfacetransport.Thepracticesarereferencedtoabibliographyofinformationconcerningtheabove.Hazardousmaterials,bulkcargo,non-containerizedbreakbulkinoceancarriage,andtransportofcargobyairarenotincludedinthesepracticesatthistime.1.2Thesepracticesshallapplytocargoinsurfacetransportonflatbed,opentop,boxcar,truckvanandintermodalcontainers.1.3Thepracticesareintendedtoformaframeworkforthesafeandeffectiveloadingandunloadingofcargoinintermodalandunimodalsurfacetransport.Theyarenotintendedtoprovidecomprehensivedetailrelatingtospecifictypesofcargo,butwillreferencetosourcematerialswhereinsuchdetailmaybefound.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
